  1. Spritz is a new concept in painting programs for the Amiga from Glacier
  2. Technologies. The program targets the introductory level user by not
  3. overwhelming one with an overabundance of features. It does incorporate
  4. most of the usual basic paint features expected, and the program also
  5. incorporates some unique and powerful features for the graphics
  6. professional and power user who would view it simply as a necessary
  7. utility to one or more full-featured products like Express Paint.

  9. It is suggested that you try the following features to get started:
  10. - Grab Screen gives you ten seconds to activate another screen to grab.
  11. - Change Screen lets you change the page, resolution and # of colors.
  12. - Experiment with the six ranges of color cycling.
  13. - While the startup window is open choose the Preferences menu and
  14.   experiment with the defaults. Choose Make Permenant when you've decided.
  15. - Choose Open-Cut Drawer from the Project menu and load an entire drawer
  16.   of cuts in one command from the Award.Kit drawer.
  17. - Choose Iconize from the Modes Menu to tuck Spritz away for awhile. Select
  18.   the small iconized window and press the right mouse button to reactivate.
  19. - Use the Power Borders features by making a cut visible in the box tool
  20.   then, using the patterned box mode, draw a rectangle and press the alt
  21.   key when you press the left mouse button to end the rectangle operation.
  22. - Use the Smart-link feature with multiple copies of Spritz. To do this,
  23.   run the Portmanager by clicking on its icon. Then start at least two
  24.   copies of Spritz and use the options under the Special and Use menus.
  25. - Copy Screen or Brush from one copy of Spritz to another.

  27. For the sake of convenience, a brief list of some of the program's notable

  30. - Due to its compact design, it is the fastest paint program available
  31. - Let's you load one or more entire cut drawers with one command
  32. - Multiple undos (up to 200 can be set)
  33. - Up to six ranges of color cycling with independent speed control 
  34. - Let's you change page size, resolution and number of colors on the fly
  35. - Let's you transfer IFF images and cuts to and from other programs
  36. - Automatically converts from one color palette to another when changed
  37. - User specifiable default palettes for each of the color settings
  38. - Supports 64 color Extra Half Brite mode 
  39. - Multiple brushes may be in memory at the same time
  40. - No limit to the number of fonts available at once 
  41. - Supports most known printers and HP Laserjets 
  42. - Works in all resolutions and severe overscan 
  43. - PAL and NTSC compatible 
  44. - Turn off icons and menu bars for genlocking, etc. 
  45. - Power Borders lets you make dazzling borders for pieces of clipart.
  46. - Iconize lets you tuck Spritz away to be quickly available.
  47. - Lets you grab screens even having pull-down menus activated.
